New Development In The City Limits Of Milbank

J&J Earthworks has begun work on a new housing addition located at the south end of Seventh Street in Milbank. The 15-acre addition, which will be named Valley View Addition, will include 18 single-family residential lots and eight twin-home lots. Seventh Street will be extended south to create the residential lots. Fifth Street will also be extended to the south to accommodate the twin-home lots.

“All the utilities are in,” said company owners and cousins, Jamie and Jeremy Andrews. “The gravel work on the roads is being completed and the curbs and gutters will go in next spring.”

The company purchased the land last winter. “I was looking for a lot to build a house for myself here in town, Jamie said, “And there just were not a lot of options. We have the equipment to do the work to get these lots ready, but have been doing this as a spare-time project, so it has taken some time to develop.”
