The Shopko Foundation presented a $1000 grant to the Northeast South Dakota Healthcare Foundation. The money will be used to purchase additional equipment for the new Milbank Area Hospital and Clinic campus.
Jim Gesswein, chairman of the Northeast South Dakota Healthcare Foundation Board, said, “We welcome Shopko to the Milbank retail community. Their support of local healthcare is greatly appreciated.”
The Shopko Foundation supports accredited schools and 501(c)3 organizations. Grants are awarded to support programs which further the foundation’s purpose of promoting the health and education of Shopko teammates and customers.
