Hoeke and Rick Win Championship Volleyball Title

MHS senior Mikaela Hoeke and junior Molly Rick played on the winning U18 volleyball team at the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center tournament in Watertown April 1-2. The teens were members of the Elite Alliance Volleyball Club (EAVC) 18 White team that won the gold bracket championship.
EAVC is a non-profit volleyball club comprised of coaches and athletes from Watertown and the surrounding area. The club is in its inaugural season.

EAVC is a non-profit volleyball club comprised of coaches and athletes from the Watertown and surrounding area. Cam Corey of Watertown is the director, and MHS head volleyball coach, Nancy Hoeke, is one of the EAVC board members.
Try-outs for the club were conducted in early December with practices and tournaments taking place during the months of February through May. The club has teams for the 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age groups.
Other local players on the various EAVC teams include Gabbi Cummins, Jaecy Engebretson, Katie Wollschlager, Jaden Hoeke, Averie Engebretson and Hallie Schulte. Local coaches for the club include Kelli Hoff, Tayla Schulte and Erica Paulson.
