In conjunction with South Dakota’s Severe Weather Awareness Week, a statewide tornado drill will be conducted Wednesday, April 26. A test watch will be issued at 10 a.m. with a test warning issued at 10:15 a.m.
Severe Weather Awareness Week in South Dakota is April 24-28. It’s purpose is to encourage citizens to take time to review their weather safety plans which should include information regarding shelter, communications, what to do and where to go when severe weather strikes.
