The Grant County Sheriff’s Office intercepted a vehicle transporting four pounds of high grade marijuana on Saturday, May 13, on Highway 12 near Big Stone City. The driver and two passengers were arrested for possession of four pounds of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Street value of the marijuana is over $20,000, according to Grant County Sheriff Kevin Owen.
All three are being held at the Grant County Detention Center on bond. The individuals arrested were traveling from Minnesota to the Day County area. The Big Stone Police Department assisted on scene.
