Prairie Repertory Theatre of Brookings presents four shows this summer. The theatre group performs Sister Act; I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change; Over the River and Through the Woods; and The Full Monty. Jamie Mundwiler, Milbank High School alumna, is a member of the theatre company and involved in all four productions.
Mundwiler plays the roles of Nun Six and Nun Seven in Sister Act. She plays the role of Deloris and is featured in an ensemble in The Full Monty. She is the house manager for Over the River and Through the Woods, and will work with the box office and publicity department for all four shows. Performances are scheduled in Brookings and Brandon.
This is Mundwiler’s first summer with the company. She recently completed her sophomore year at SDSU, where she is pursuing a pre-mortuary and political science major with a theatre minor.
Prairie Repertory Theatre opens its season with the musical comedy Sister Act. Performances run in Brookings June 7 through June 11. The show runs in Brandon July 19 through July 23. I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change takes the stage in Brookings June 14 through June 18. The show runs in Brandon July 14, 15, 16, and 19. Over the River and Through the Woods runs in Brookings from June 21 through June 25, and in Brandon July 26 through July 28. The final show, The Full Monty, plays in Brookings June 28 through July 2. It runs in Brandon July 12 and 13, and July 29 and 30.
Tickets become available at the Performing Arts Center at SDSU for all four shows beginning May 30. The PRT Box Office in Doner Auditorium is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour before performances. Tickets are available online at http://sdstate.tix.com starting May 30.
