Nine Grant County 4-H’ers expanded their imaginations at Camp Bob Marshall in Custer from June 17-20. The camp’s theme was Imagination Station.

The youth were chaperoned by Susan Karels, Rochelle Reede, Alex Adolph and Sara Koepke, Grant County 4-H Youth Program Advisor. Youth taking part in the event were Emily Van Hoorn, Hope Karels, Devon Mueller, Ethan Adolph, Elyse Reede, Kynlee Speidel, Abby Paczkowski, Ashlee Van Hoorn and Hunter Reede.

The youth participated in workshops that included: tie dying their camp shirt, junk drawer robotics, a nature hike, creating drones, roasting marshmallows in solar ovens, and soap carving.

They also enjoyed campfires, camp songs, and a talent show. One of the highlights of the camp was the bucket brigade activity – a huge water fight. For more information about 4-H camp, contact the Grant County 4-H Office at 605-432-9221.
