The Milbank Police Department investigated three calls of burglarized cars on July 13. Lukas Jackson at Terrace Garden Apartments reported his red 1999 Ford pickup was compromised and a DPMS AR-10 rifle was stolen. The rifle has a ballistic barrel and a Nightforce NXS scope. “If anyone has any information about this incident, call the Milbank Police Department,” stated Milbank Police Chief Boyd VanVooren. “There is a reward.” Call the Milbank Police Department at 605-432-5650.
The other two victims reported their vehicles were tampered with, but nothing was stolen. All three vehicles were broken into during the night of July 12. “Please lock your vehicles,” said VanVooren. “And do not leave valuables inside your vehicle.”
