Viola Street to Reopen Thursday

Viola Street in Milbank is set to reopen Thursday, August 24, according to City Administrator Jason Kettwig. Kettwig says crews were busy today laying asphalt, but that is expected to be completed. “There may be some touch up work and landscaping that still needs to be done, but for the most part, the roads will all be done and open.”

Delays occurred due to the severe weather Milbank experienced in the last few weeks, but Kettwig says the project is pretty close to its projected time frame. He says, “It will be nice to get things back to normal.”
