Snow Queen Contest Offers Senior Girls More Scholarship Money

All local senior girls are invited to experience the tradition of the Milbank Snow Queen contest. The event, held  November 11, will be the first Festival sponsored by The Valley Express. “The Snow Queen Festival is a fantastic opportunity for girls in our community to gain invaluable experience while creating a foundation for achieving future goals.,” noted Kathy Ward of The Valley Express. “We are excited to continue this long- standing tradition and look forward to the continued success of The Milbank Snow Queen Festival.”

The winner of the contest will be crowned Miss Milbank along with receiving a $500 scholarship. This year, the Valley Express is pleased to announce the addition of two new scholarships. A $250 scholarship will be awarded to The first runner-up, while the second runner-up will be awarded a $150 scholarship.
