Football Preview: Bulldogs Look to Win Conference Title

The Milbank Area Bulldogs have high hopes of earning their first Northeast Conference football title in 10 years. The Bulldogs’ opportunity comes during their matchup with the Sisseton Redmen Friday, October 13, at AB Campbell Stadium.

Sisseton holds a 2-5 record. The Redmen secured wins over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte and Redfield-Doland. The Dawgs are 4-3 this season.

Injuries plague the Redmen, but skilled players will keep Milbank Area on their toes, according to Bulldog Head Coach Jeremy Tostenson. “We need to win our two finals games to keep us in the playoff hunt,” he said. “We are keeping our focus on getting better each day.”

Friday night’s game is also Band Night. The Milbank High School and Milbank Middle School bands both perform at halftime.
