Milbank High School band students attended the 71st Northern State University (NSU) Band Clinic in Aberdeen on November 8. Established in 1947, the Northern State University (NSU) Band Clinic is the longest running band directors and student workshop in South Dakota. 

Milbank students participating included: (Back l. to r.) Ethan Bohn (trombone), Drake Rogers (tuba), Rebecca Loehrer (flute), Hailey Underwood (alto sax), Joe Harstad (euphonium), Magally K. Aburto (trumpet). (Middle) Alaina Rausch (clarinet), Mackenzie Michels (alto sax), Brandon Hansen (tuba), Noah Mursu (alto sax), Yami Arano (trumpet), Jodi DeVaal (clarinet), Heather Bray (clarinet), Abby Michels (clarinet). (Front) Anna Mathews (flute), Tracy Pillatzki (trombone), Landon Brown (french horn), Amberly Warren (flute), Bailey Frerichs (clarinet), Yulissa Sanchez-Ramierz (clarinet), Rhianna Cantine (flute). Kylie Roggenbuck (bass clarinet) also participated. The culminating concert was held at the Johnson Fine Arts Center on the campus of NSU. 

Milbank students recognized for four years of participation were Rebecca Loehrer, Magally K. Aburto, and Jodi DeVaal. Susan Karels, MHS Band Director, accompanied the students.
