The local chapter of the Knights of Columbus presented 36 coats and a $500 cash donation to the Grant County Food Pantry today, Thursday, December 7.

The group has been donating  coats, snow pants, hats, mittens and boots for children  for many years. Funds from the annual KC pancake breakfast were used to purchase the items that were given.

“We could not make this type of donation if it weren’t for the generous community members who support our projects,” stated KC member Dave Cizadlo. Tim Weber also added, “It is all up to the community that makes these things work. So we thank you for your contributions.”

Presenting the donations were, left to right, Dave Cizadlo, Tim Weber, Heather Rise with the Food Pantry, Tom Koeniguer and Dave Waletich.
