Eighth grade student, Marshall Voeltz, secured the top spot in the local National Geographic Bee at Milbank Middle School. He finished in the top position out of all the sixth, seventh and eighth grade students.
Marshall has taken the qualifying test to determine if he will advance to the State Geographic Bee scheduled for April 6 in Aberdeen.
