The Milbank Area Chamber announced Chase Bryant will headline the Farley Fest this summer. Clare Dunn will be the opening act. Farley Fest is set for the weekend of July 20 – 22, with the country concert on Saturday night.
Chase Bryant is the grandson of Jimmy Bryant, who performed with Roy Orbison and Waylon Jennings. Coming from a musically talented family has taught Chase several tricks of the trade. Even so, Chase’s playing style is unusual- he is left-handed but plays a right-handed guitar upside-down.
In August 2013, Bryant signed with Red Bow Records, and released his debut single Take It On Back, which hit the top 10 of Billboard’s Country chart. Other hits by Bryant include Little Bit of You and Room to Breathe. Bryant was also one of two opening acts on Tim McGraw’s 2015 Shotgun Rider Tour.
Clare Dunn gathered support from satellite radio as a “Highway Find” on The Highway a Sirius channel. She then signed with Universal Music Group in Nashville and BMG. She has opened for Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Hank Williams, Jr., and Trace Adkins.
In 2013, she released her debut single and became the highest charting single female artist on the Music Row Country Breakout chart in ten years. Dunn was also named as An Artist to Watch in 2017 in country music’s Sounds Like Nashville.
The Chamber is so excited to be bringing to Milbank one of the biggest up-and-comers in country music,” says Laura Kelly Event Director of the Milbank Chamber. “It’s going to be an amazing concert.”
