Heavy snow, ice and high winds are causing transmission and distribution power lines to gallop resulting in multiple outages throughout the Whetstone Valley Electric service territory in Grant and Roberts Counties. “Currently about 125 members are without power” stated cooperative manager Dave Page.  “Crews are out clearing the lines and restoring power where possible. There may be power blinks or momentary outages as line breakers operate.”

The company is asking members to notify the office if an extended outage is experienced 800-568-6631 or 605-432-5331.”
