Rausch Plays in All-State Band

Alaina Rausch, MHS sophomore, played her clarinet in the 68th Annual High School All-State Band Grand Concert in Rapid City on March 24. Rausch was a member of the Lewis Band under the direction of Dr. Christopher Chapman. Dr. Chapman is currently the Director of Bands for the Oregon State University Department of Music.

Alaina’s parents, Tony and Deb Rausch, NSU student teacher Nyssa Duffield, and MHS Band Director Susan Karels accompanied her to the event.
