Police Investigate Vandalism at Lake Farley Park
Local News August 16, 2018 Staff Writer 0
The City of Milbank is considering adding a surveillance system to Lake Farley Park in response to recent acts of vandalism. The latest incident occurred during the night of August 14.
“Senseless vandalism,” stated Milbank Police Chief Boyd VanVooren when asked about the damage to the ladies restroom at Lake Farley. According to VanVooren, this is the second time this summer the facilities at Lake Farley have been compromised, but the police do not believe the two are related. They also do not believe the incident is related to the rash of vandalism earlier this spring or the recent break-ins in Ortonville.
