Punt, Pass, and Kick Returns to Milbank

The annual Punt, Pass, and Kick competition returns to Milbank on Monday, September 17. Kathleen Holscher, organizer for the event, says, “Kids love this event, but the NFL stopped sponsoring it. Milbank Community Pride decided to bring it back.”

Because this is no longer an NFL event, winners don’t have the opportunity to advance. But Holscher says, “Even with only offering it on a local level, it gives kids the chance to be active and show their talents. The event challenges participants in a range of skills.”

The Punt, Pass and Kick competition kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on the varsity football field at A. B. Campbell Stadium. All kids in first through eighth grade are welcome. Age divisions are: grades 1-2, grades 3-4, grades 5-6, and grades 7-8. Entry is free.
