The Valley Express and the Milbank Community Transit are teaming up on September 18, to give voters a free ride. Voters are deciding the outcome of a resolution to construct a new elementary school to replace Koch School. All voters cast their ballots at Milbank High School where the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Rides will be available from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., and The Valley Express will pay for your ticket.

According to Gary Harms and Charlie Layher, bus drivers for Milbank Community Transit, the bus usually stops running at 5 p.m., but the two said they are happy to stay late in order to give everyone a chance to get out and vote.

If you want your vote to be counted, but need a lift, schedule your ride. Call the Community Transit office at 605.432.4866.
