Bulldog Football Team Hosts Potluck and Awards Ceremony

The MHS Football Team ended their season with a potluck supper for the team and parents. The meal was followed by an awards ceremony.

Award winners included:
Trench Award – Jordan Riley
Competitor Award – Kaden Krause
Ali Award – Alex Schuelke
Most Improved Upper Classmen – JD Lusk
Most Improved Lower Classmen – Brendan Engebretson
Prime Time Playmaker – Max McCulloch
Just Play Ball Award – Jacob Karges
Bulldog Award – Jacob Sandvig

Jacob Karges was recognized for being chosen for the 11A All-State Football Team and as All-NEC. Jacob Sandvig, Jordan Riley, Riley Gauer and Max McCulloch also received All-NEC awards. Honorable Mention All-NEC awards went to Alex Schuelke and Kaden Krause. Jordan Riley and Jacob Sandvig were honored with Academic All-State awards.

Coach Adolph Shepardson thanked the members of his coaching staff, the parents for their support and gave a special thanks to his wife, Allie, for allowing him to put in the hours it takes to coach football.
