Fire Completely Destroys Home and Takes the Life of Two Dogs

The Milbank and Big Stone Fire and Rescue teams arrived at a fire shortly after 1:30 a.m. on January 21. According to Milbank Fire Chief, Kevin Schuelke, “The homeowner, Donald Glass, Jr., reported the fire after arriving home from work and finding the house engulfed in flames.

The home, located at 13872 480th Avenue northwest of Big Stone City and northeast of Milbank was a total loss. Two of the owner’s pet dogs also perished.” Firefighters remained on the scene until 4:30 a.m.
