MHS Students Audition for South Dakota All State Band

Twenty-one students from MHS auditioned for the top band in the state on January 25 in Watertown. Audition results will be announced in early February. The South Dakota All State Band concerts will be held at the Johnson Fine Arts Center in Aberdeen from March 21 through March 23. Susan Karels instructs the MHS students with assistance from Mrs. Deb Rausch.
Auditioning for the 2019 band were:
Flute-Madison Mathews (freshman), Crystal Spiering (junior)
Clarinet-Hope Osborn (senior), Camryn Phinney (sophomore), Alaina Rausch (junior), Savannah Stengel (freshman), Peyten Wiese (sophomore)

Alto Sax-Hattie Muellenbach (freshman), Noah Mursu (junior), Kimberly Van Sambeek (senior)
