Milbank School Board Accepts Seven Resignations

Seven staff members submitted their letters of resignation to Superintendent Tim Graf and the Milbank School District Board of Education at the school board meeting on Monday, February 11.

Dave Boerger, a graduate of MHS, has resigned his position as the music instructor and band director at Koch Elementary School. Boerger began his employment at Koch School in 1992.

Jim Dahl submitted his letter of resignation. Dahl is a high school science instructor and also served as the head girls basketball coach and the tennis coach for both the girls and boys teams. Dahl has been employed at MHS since 1985.

Jeanine Dashiell, a paraprofessional at Milbank Middle School since 2012, has decided to pursue a job in the healthcare field.

Jill Lear has resigned as the school psychologist.  Lear has been employed with the Milbank School District for the past five years. She and her family plan to relocate to Sioux Falls at the end of the school term.

Long tenured teacher and MHS graduate Lane Linquist submitted his resignation. Lindquist was a social studies instructor at MHS since 1991. Lindquist also served in several coaching positions most recently as a Milbank Middle School football and girls basketball coach, and assistant track coach.

Nancy Pauli resigned her position as an art instructor at MHS. Pauli began her employment in the Milbank district in 1991 as a middle school art teacher. In 2011, she transferred to MHS.

Nancy Weber, a Milbank native and also a MHS graduate, has resigned her position as a fifth grade teacher at Koch Elementary School. Weber has been in education for 23 years, but was employed in the Milbank District during the 2018-2019 school year.
