Milbank Streets Remain Closed After Train Accident

Work is progressing on the railroad tracks in Milbank after a truck – train crash yesterday morning at Lloyd Avenue. The wrecked railcars are being removed and workers are laying pre-built track that was trucked to the site.
City Administrator John Forman says some streets remain closed to facilitate the repairs. Streets remaining on the list of closures are clearly marked with barricades or cones and include:
Bell Avenue from Eastman to the Milbank City Landfill is closed to the public.
Lloyd Street – north of Milbank Avenue is closed.
Middlebrook Street north of Milbank Avenue is closed.
McBride Avenue north of Milbank Avenue is closed.
