Keith Weber has been promoted to the new position of Information Technology Department Manager at Valley Queen Cheese Factory. Keith has been the company’s IT administrator for the past 17 years and has been instrumental in modernizing Valley Queen’s IT infrastructure and services to match the company’s growing dairy processing capacity, new product offerings, and the communication needs of its stakeholders.
During his tenure at Valley Queen, Weber has overseen the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Valley Queen’s computer systems including network and software systems. Weber has earned two best-practice certifications as an IT professional — an MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certificate and an ITIL(r) Foundation certificate.
Weber served in the United States Marine Corps for five years. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business computer information systems from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, Minnesota. He was a member of the 2017-18 Leadership South Dakota graduating class.
Weber was the 2012 president of the Milbank Toastmasters Club and president of the Milbank Chamber of Commerce. He also has served as a coach and organizer of the Milbank girls and boys basketball associations, Whetstone Valley Youth Football and Milbank Ball Diamond Association.
Weber and his wife, Angie, have been married for 23 years and have three children – Abby, 17; Karson, 14; and Garrett, 11.
