Alaina Rausch, MHS junior clarinet, and William Karels, MHS freshman tuba, played in the 69th Annual High School All State Band Grand Concert held in Aberdeen on March 23. The concert was held at the Johnson Fine Arts Center on the campus of Northern State University, and was under the direction of Dr. Paul Popiel. Dr. Popiel is the University of Kansas Director of Bands. Deb Rausch, lesson assistant for MMS and MHS, and Susan Karels, band director at MHS, accompanied Alaina and William to the event.
