Grant County Pheasants Forever Donates Guns to 4-H Shooting Club

The Grant County chapter of Pheasants Forever donated three BB guns and three air pellet rifles to the Grant County 4-H Shooting Sports Club. The guns were purchased with proceeds from the Grant County Pheasants Forever banquet held annually in September. This is the third group of firearms the Grant County Pheasants Forever organization has given to the shooting sports club.

The Grant County 4-H shooting sports program teaches youth firearm safety and provides an environment for them to practice safety and marksmanship skills. One of the missions of Pheasants Forever is to encourage youth to participate in shooting sports as a preliminary step toward hunting.
