Jimmy Gesswein Celebrates His Birthday and The Second Annual Fishing Contest

Today, June 4, is Jimmy Gesswein’s Birthday. He’s blowing out the candles and wishing for a big bite – but not just of cake. He’s hoping the biggest bite will be on the end of his fishing line! You sea, Jimmy is an avid fisherman and it’s that time of the year again. Time to head to the lake, drop a pole in the water, and catch some beauties.

Are you an avid fisherman, too? Any luck? Send us a photo of what’s on the end of your line, and we’ll publish it online. All age anglers are welcome – from small fry to old codgers. All fish species and sizes are welcome, too. Kids will automatically be entered in the Jimmy Gesswein Reel Fisherman Contest and be eligible to win the drawing for the weekly prize of a fishing lure and a drawing for the end-of the-season prize. Adults will automatically be entered into a separate drawing for an end-of-the-season prize.
