The 22nd Annual It Only Takes a Spark Cancer Walk went the extra mile this year to bring you a winning roster of activities, food, and prizes. It all starts this Friday, June 14 at 5 p.m. at Lake Farley Park in Milbank. Here’s everything you need to know to keep on track.

The community picnic gets things rolling at 5 p.m. on Friday. Bob Hartman coordinates the picnic; the Kiwanis are serving. Events also begin at 5 p.m.

Don’t miss the inflatables for the kids, Parade of Teams, color guard, national anthem, Lap of Life, honorary chair, live and silent auctions, announcement of merchant ticket winners, Lighting the Way, and, of course, the fireworks. Visit all the campsites to see your friends and neighbors, try fun food, and play the carnival games. There’s a lot going on, but Duane Tillman returns as emcee to guide you every step of the way.
