Thank God it’s nearly the weekend! The 2019 LifeLight Festival is Saturday August 31, from 2-10 p.m. at Lake Farley Park in Milbank. Admission is free. Catch concerts by top Christian music artists, including Grammy-nominated Building 429. Watch as BMX and FMX teams perform amazing feats of acrobatics, and, if amazing things are your thing, don’t miss internationally acclaimed illusionists David and Teesha Laflin.

Younger festival-goers can check out the kids area from 1-7 p.m. for inflatables, face painting, gaga ball, and more. Food vendors will be on site all day and everything ends with a big bang – fireworks bring the evening to a close.

LifeLight’s co-founder, Alan Greene will also be at the festival. Greene is passionate about taking the message of Jesus outside the walls of the church. The annual LifeLight festival held in Sioux Falls has become the largest annual family/Christian music festival in the nation with over 100,000 people attending each day.

Special guests, illusionist David Laflin, and his wife, Teesha, have entertained and inspired audiences across the world and have been featured on numerous TV shows and at the NCAA Final Four. David and Teesha’s unique ministry began soon after the couple traded in their traditional jobs for missionary work in India. While packing their bags, David and Teesha decided to take some of the simple object lessons they used at Bible studies. Once they arrived in India, they were thrilled by the way God used those tools to encourage people to listen to the Gospel – many who otherwise might never have listened. Under God’s direction, the couple continued their illusion ministry to uplift and delight audiences in all corners of the world. So, why go all the way to Sin City for Penn and Teller; David and Teesha are at Lake Farley Park this weekend.

Remedy Drive, a Nashville-based group that toured with the Rock and Worship Roadshow along with the artists the David Crowder Band and MercyMe, also joins the lineup at LifeLight in Milbank. The Color, a Canadian band which has won multiple Canadian Gospel Music Awards will also appear, as will Manic Drive another Canadian group. They hit the R&R Top 30 Christian rock charts debuting in the top 10. Johnathan Stone, a hip hop artist will also be in town. Johnathan released his first album at age 15. DJ Peacock, a rapper from Sioux Falls, is guaranteed to get you moving. And, grab your friends and go see Bread of Stone and Cade Thompson. Cade has a soulful sound that appeals to believers and mainstream pop audiences alike.

No lie. That’s a lot of music. No denying it. The best things in life are free, and so is the LifeLight Festival this weekend at Farley Park. Don’t miss it!
