Pancake Feed to Benefit Milbank Fire Department On October 6

Where there’s smokies…there’s firemen! And pancakes, too. The Valley Express will host a freewill pancake feed to benefit the Milbank Fire and Rescue Department on Sunday, October 6. Pancakes and smokies will be served from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Milbank Visitors Center. All proceeds go to the fire department.

Milbank Fire Chief Kevin Schuelke says, “Instead of raising taxes, Milbank Fire and Rescue relies on community support. Usually the department holds their annual fundraiser in August. This year, we were at 4-H Achievement Days instead.”
