Great Western Bank Donates to Grant County Christian Service Council

Steve Nomeland and Tory Pollock of Great Western Bank in Milbank presented a $5000 check to the Grant County Christian Service Council. Linda Comstock, LeAnn Kuper, Brenda Maass and Val Van Lith accepted the check on behalf of the council. The donation, a Making Life Great grant, is expected to provide nearly one third of the group’s annual budget.

The Christian Service Council plans to use the funds for school supplies and vouchers to purchase new shoes, socks and underwear, haircuts, and clothing from the local thrift store. A portion of the grant money will also go to stock the Grant County food pantry.

The Grant County Christian Service Council helps men, women, and families of Grant County who are unable to procure assistance elsewhere.
