The Valley Express sponsored an evening of glitz and glamour Saturday night at the annual Milbank Snow Queen Festival. Amy Nelson was crowned the new 2020 Miss Milbank. She is the daughter of Brad and Sara Nelson. Amy was sponsored by Ottertail Power Company, Avantra Milbank, and Twin Valley Tire. Claire Mischel, 2019 Miss Milbank, crowned her successor.
Makenna Osowski was named first runner-up and wins a $250 scholarship. Lillian Trapp was second runner-up and wins a $150 scholarship.
Local kindergarten girls also vied for the title of Little Miss Milbank. Layla Anderson, the daughter of Jordan and April Anderson, is the 2020 winner.
