Milbank’s Parade of Lights and Holiday Movie are being postponed, according to Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce Director Laurie Folk.  The National Weather Service is anticipating 8-13 inches of snow will accumulate in the Milbank area this weekend. At time of publication, a Winter Storm Warning had been issued for Grant County through Sunday at noon.

Luckily, the weather will not put an end to the holiday festivities entirely. The Holiday Cash Drawing set for Saturday at 2 PM will still continue as planned. Be present in a participating business for your chance to win $500 in Ol’ Mill Bucks. Two winners will be selected each week, must be present to win.  Additionally, the parade and movie will be rescheduled. Folk says, “we will regroup on Monday and get a new date for these events.” The rescheduled date and any additional updates will be published on The Valley Express.
