Jaxson Wiese Takes Fifth at KC State Free Throw Contest

Jaxson Wiese of Milbank earned a fifth-place finish at the Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Contest on Sunday, March 1 in Chamberlain. He competed in the 11-year-old division.

Jaxson made 20-of-25 free throws which put him in a three-way tie for fifth place. He then won the shootout by dropping in 5-of-5 to earn sole rights to fifth place. He finished the day at 25-of-30.

Jaxon is the son of Scott and Andrea Wiese. He is a fifth grader at St. Lawrence School in Milbank.
