Three Milbank eighth graders participated in the 21st Annual SDMEA Middle School All-State Band Festival held March 6 -7 at the Mitchell High School Performing Arts Center. Rachel Schulte played the clarinet and Joe Schulte played the euphonium in the Festival Band. Hope Karels played the bass clarinet in the Festival Band. Susan Karels, band instructor for grades 6-12, accompanied the students to the event. This event is sponsored by the South Dakota Music Educator’s Association.
