The Whetstone Creek Golf Course opens today, April 1, at noon. According to Steve Hilbrands, clubhouse manager, there will be only one person allowed per golf cart. Hilbrands says the clubhouse will only be open for golfers to use the restrooms. Restrooms are also limited to one person at a time and access is through the west entry.
On arrival, golfers need to go to the west entry. Hilbrands will be stationed there to take greens fees and answer questions.
The patio will be closed, but beverages and snacks will be sold at the entry or at the window on the patio. Guests are reminded to keep six feet between customers. Hilbrands says, “In order to remain open, we need 100 percent compliance from our customers.”
The Whetstone Golf Course is located north of Milbank on Highway 15.
