Senior Makenna Osowski was chosen as the MHS March Student of the Month. Makenna is the daughter of Jason and Jennifer Osowski.
Makenna was on the cheer team for football and boys basketball and a member of band, choir, and color guard. She also served as a boys basketball statistician and blood drive coordinator. Makenna has participated in Girls State, HOBY, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, she is active in youth group and a member of the swim team.
She says her favorite class is biology. “I love learning about the human body and Ms. Lingert did a great job of teaching it!” Makenna has been employed as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at Advantara in Milbank. After graduation, she plans to major in nursing at the University of Sioux Falls and pursue credentials to become a certified nurse midwife.
