Dan Sunne and Chad Hauger were the top place winners at the Jason Kellen June Walleye Fishing Tournament on Big Stone Lake on Saturday, June 20. The duo caught a total of 13.61 pounds of walleyes. Their biggest fish weighed in at 3.14 pounds. Sunny and Hauger took home $6820 in prize money.
Cody Backstrand and Pete Vangsness landed in second place by reeling in a total of 12.76 pounds. They also earned the big fish award with a 6.23-pound beauty.
Jason Kellen, tournament organizer, and his partner, John Oakes, brought in a combined total of 11.43 pounds. Their greatest catch weighed 3.63 pounds.
