Taking home first place in the July 11 Whetstone Valley Rodeo Association team penning event were Blair Wittnebel, Nikki Roggenbuck, and Brandon Feabarg. They clocked a time of 28.72 seconds. Second place went to Joanie Hills, Tom Graham, and Louie Minder with a time of 33.24 seconds. Craig Magedanz, Brandon Feabarg, and Steven Hills captured third place at 42.75 seconds.
The cattle provided tough competition in the sorting event; only four teams got the job done. First place money went to Lonnie Schrunk, Milt Stengel, and Brian Anderson. Clint Javers, Carson Javers, and Cassidy Hardy made up the second fastest team to sort all seven head.
