The 15th Annual Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Scramble was held Friday, September 11. The 18-hole scramble, traditionally held in June, was moved to September due to COVID-19.
Laurie Folk, director of the Milbank Area Chamber, said, “It worked out great. We had a total of 14 teams — the most teams ever! It was a rainy day, but everyone had fun. And after the golfing, the fun continued back in the clubhouse.”
Hayden Palmer, a member of the Valley Queen team, won the grand prize. He took home a Weber grill donated by United Hardware. An additional 35 prizes including a variety of gift certificates and baskets were awarded during the event. Winning golf teams were awarded with ‘Ol Mill Bucks.
