John Forman, administrator for The City of Milbank, reports construction projects in Milbank are moving along smoothly.  According to Forman, the trail at Pribyl Park has been resurfaced and minor drainage improvements have been made. Work was completed on Friday, September 25. He says, “About 1.2 miles of asphalt – an estimated 630 tons — were replaced on the path.”

Forman says, “ The drainage work and realignment of the trail was completed by Berkner Excavating of Milbank and Bituminous Paving of Ortonville was the contractor for the asphalt work.” He believes the life expectancy of the new path is 15 to 20 years.

Forman says, “Other projects culminating this fall include: the paving of streets in Vista Villa, more drainage work in Pribyl Park, and finishing the grading work at the Lake Farley campground. And, of course, there’s always winter to prepare for.”
