The 2020 Veterans Day program will be held on November 11 at 11 a.m. outdoors at the Grant County Veterans Memorial.  The memorial is adjacent to the Milbank City Cemetery and across from the tennis courts. Attendees can watch from their vehicles by parking on Dexter Avenue or in the Unity Square parking lot.

The Milbank VFW is in charge the program. Commander Preston Fischer will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and read the history and meaning of Veterans Day. The program will also include the Call to Assembly and the Posting of Colors.  VFW Post 3486 Rifle Squad will perform the salute to fallen soldiers and play Taps. The Retiring of the Colors will close the event.
Organizations participating include: VFW Post 3486 and Firing Squad, American Legion Birch-Miller Post 9, Gertje-VanLith 229, Stockholm-Strandburg American Legion Post 171, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 19, and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1054
