MHS Oral Interp Team Crowned Regional Champions

The Milbank Oral Interp team took first place at Regions. Natasha Karels, coach for the team, says, “All seven of our entries qualified for State!”  Karels says, “They had to place in the top half of their category to qualify.  Hailey Hupke and Peyten Wiese placed first in Duo with 1s from all three judges. Wiese also placed first in Non-Original Oratory with straight 1s. 

The Readers Theater, comprised of Aiden Boerger, Heidi Meyer, Mackenzie Michels, Wiese, Hupke, and Addy Hoke also placed first with straight 1s. 
Hupke again placed first in Storytelling, and Ivy Lewno placed second in Poetry.  Mackenzie Michels competed in Serious and Jacquie Wold competed in Humor. They both finished fourth.
