Klemm and Scott Join It Only Takes a Spark Board

Kasey Klemm and Matt Scott have joined the board of directors for It Only Takes A Spark. Klemm, a member of the Great Western Bank team, replaced Lynn Wientjes, and Matt Scott, a former member of the board and a member of the State Auto team, replaced Aaron Anderson. The two became part of the core committee which encourages cancer patients in Grant County to apply for financial assistance from It Only Takes A Spark. The funds are used to pay costs associated with out-of-town appointments such as gas and lodging, cancer-related prescriptions, and cancer-related clinic and hospital bills.

The other board members include: Julie Landmark, president; Alex Pauli, vice president; and Ann Tuchscherer, secretary-treasurer. According to Tuchscherer, the core committee is hopeful a cancer walk can be held June 11, 2021, but as the end of 2020 approaches, they encourage Grant County residents to make a tax-deductible contribution.
