Twenty nine students from Milbank auditioned for the top high school band in the state. Auditions were recorded the last week in January and results are expected by mid-February. The 2021 South Dakota All-State Band concerts will be held at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center in Mitchell on March 26-27.
Auditioning for the all-state band also qualifies the MHS students for the 2021 North Area Honor Band in Aberdeen next December. The students are instructed by Susan Karels with assistance from Mrs. Deb Rausch.
