MHS Students Selected for All-State Orchestra

Four MHS musicians will represent Milbank in the 2020-2021 South Dakota All-State Orchestra.  Rachel Schulte was chosen as third chair, first violin; Joe Schulte as 21st chair first violin; Nicholas Fonder-11th chair, second violin; and Merik Junker- third chair, mallets.  The three string students are freshmen and Junker is a sophomore. 

The concert, which was rescheduled, is now slated for Tuesday, April 20, at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls. Susan Karels, Milbank School District’s (grades 6-12) band teacher, and Elizabeth Schulte, a private string instructor, will accompany the students to Sioux Falls.
