The Milbank School Board accepted the resignation of Darla Larson and Jenna Schlimme at their regular meeting Monday, February 8. The resignations will be effective at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Darla Larson has served the Milbank School District for 34 years at the elementary level and has chosen to retire. She presently teaches kindergarten, and also has taught first, fourth, and fifth grades in Koch School. “I have been fortunate to have spent so many years in the Milbank School District and there are many aspects of those years that I will miss greatly. I will cherish the memories,” Darla expressed.

Jenna Schlimme, middle and high school nurse, has also tendered her resignation, effective at the end of the school year. She has served as the school nurse for the past three years. She is raising a baby in addition to continuing her education to become a nurse practitioner.
“We want to thank Darla and Jenna for their years of service to the district,” said Superintendent Justin Downes.
