Jackie Smith, on behalf of the Parkview United Methodist Church, recently presented a check for $500 to the Grant County Food Pantry.

Val Van Lith of ICAP reports the Grant County Food Pantry made it through the holidays and the latest cold snap and the shelves remain well stocked, but winter isn’t over yet.  Van Lith says, “Anyone who lives in Grant County is eligible to come to the pantry. A basic box is packed and ready to go. We also ask if you need things such as laundry soap, deodorant, or other personal care items.”

Van Lith says it isn’t required but, “we encourage you to call ahead.”  Call 605.432.6571 to make your appointment.

If you would like to donate to the food pantry, send your check to the Grant County Courthouse % Food Pantry at 210 E. Fifth Avenue in Milbank. The food distributed by the pantry is purchased at local grocery stores.
